Lighthouse Park Viewpoint Loop

Discover the 5.5-km loop trail around Lighthouse Park on Bowen Island, BC. This moderately challenging route takes you through stunning viewpoints like Juniper Point, Shore Pine Point, and the iconic Point Atkinson Lighthouse. The trail offers a mix of smooth paths and rocky terrain, perfect for those who enjoy a bit of adventure. With picturesque spots along the shoreline and plenty of opportunities for birdwatching, this trail is a must-visit year-round. Dogs are welcome and may roam off-leash in some areas. Parking can be tricky, so be prepared for potential wait times on busy weekends.

I have been participating in their yearly charity hikes since their inception and am amazed by the support received. People from all over the world come to the hike from diverse backgrounds and donate generously.
There are over 160 million orphans in the world. That is one reason my wife and I are passionate about helping families adopt children. For children not to become an orphan in the first place would be best. To do this you have to change their environment and teach skills that will change not only their life but many generations to come. This is why I support LY2NK. They are helping create an environment where communities can learn to support themselves for many lifetimes right where they are.
