First Lake via Cypress Resort Road
Introduction
Explore the 4.8-km out-and-back trail near West Vancouver, BC. This moderately challenging route takes you to a serene lake, perfect for a refreshing swim in the summer. The trail is steep but well-maintained, with no technical challenges, making it accessible for most hikers. Enjoy the quiet, with few visitors along the way. While there isn't much to see en route, the peaceful lake at the end makes it all worth it. Dogs are welcome on a leash, and you can avoid the brief road section by parking off Spar Tree Road.

I have been participating in their yearly charity hikes since their inception and am amazed by the support received. People from all over the world come to the hike from diverse backgrounds and donate generously.
There are over 160 million orphans in the world. That is one reason my wife and I are passionate about helping families adopt children. For children not to become an orphan in the first place would be best. To do this you have to change their environment and teach skills that will change not only their life but many generations to come. This is why I support LY2NK. They are helping create an environment where communities can learn to support themselves for many lifetimes right where they are.
