Explore this 7.4-km loop trail near Coquitlam, BC, a moderately challenging route that takes around 2 hours and 21 minutes to complete. It's a popular spot for birding, hiking, and mountain biking, best visited from March to October. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
Start at the end of Harper Road near the Coquitlam Gun Range, walk to the yellow gate, and enter Pinecone Burke Park. Follow the rocky path to Sawblade Falls, then continue to Coquitlam Lake Viewpoint. The trail features old cedar stumps, and Sawblade Falls is the largest and easiest to reach. Be prepared for overgrown sections at higher elevations and watch out for bear sightings.
