Blue Gentian Lake West Lake
Introduction
Explore this 6.1-km loop trail near West Vancouver, BC, known for its beautiful lakes and peaceful atmosphere. The trail takes you to First Lake, Blue Gentian Lake, and West Lake, making it perfect for hiking and running during the summer months. While the route can be slightly technical at times, it remains easier compared to other local trails. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash. In winter, the trail transforms into a snowshoeing route, though be aware that snowfall can make it challenging to follow—downloading an offline GPS map is recommended.

I have been participating in their yearly charity hikes since their inception and am amazed by the support received. People from all over the world come to the hike from diverse backgrounds and donate generously.
There are over 160 million orphans in the world. That is one reason my wife and I are passionate about helping families adopt children. For children not to become an orphan in the first place would be best. To do this you have to change their environment and teach skills that will change not only their life but many generations to come. This is why I support LY2NK. They are helping create an environment where communities can learn to support themselves for many lifetimes right where they are.
