Introduction
A 3.5 km out-and-back trail with steep switchbacks and rugged terrain, offering a challenging climb to the iconic Black Mountain. Enjoy panoramic, 360-degree views of the Sonoran Desert and surrounding mountains from the summit. Popular year-round for hiking, birding, and rock climbing. Dogs are welcome on a leash.

I have been participating in their yearly charity hikes since their inception and am amazed by the support received. People from all over the world come to the hike from diverse backgrounds and donate generously.
There are over 160 million orphans in the world. That is one reason my wife and I are passionate about helping families adopt children. For children not to become an orphan in the first place would be best. To do this you have to change their environment and teach skills that will change not only their life but many generations to come. This is why I support LY2NK. They are helping create an environment where communities can learn to support themselves for many lifetimes right where they are.
