Introduction
Discover this 5.3-km loop trail near West Vancouver, BC. Considered moderately challenging, it takes about 1 hour and 28 minutes to complete. A popular spot for birding, hiking, and snowshoeing, it offers moments of solitude, especially during quieter times. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
The trail weaves through various forestry areas, including Burfield Forest, Tree Island, Cabin Island, Ancient Giants, and Cedar Grove, within the Old Growth Conservancy. It's a mix of official and off-trail paths, with snowshoeing recommended in winter conditions.

I have been participating in their yearly charity hikes since their inception and am amazed by the support received. People from all over the world come to the hike from diverse backgrounds and donate generously.
There are over 160 million orphans in the world. That is one reason my wife and I are passionate about helping families adopt children. For children not to become an orphan in the first place would be best. To do this you have to change their environment and teach skills that will change not only their life but many generations to come. This is why I support LY2NK. They are helping create an environment where communities can learn to support themselves for many lifetimes right where they are.
